Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

Please read the following terms and conditions applicable to the DecapolisHotel.com website. By accessing this page, you accept all its terms of use, without limitation or criteria.

RATES

  • Rates published on the Hotel Decapolis website are valued per night of stay.
  • Promotional or special rates are valid only when booking online DecapolisHotel.com
  • Prices published in United States dollars (USD).
  • All rates are subject to current local, tourist and government taxes.
  • Room rate details are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.

RESERVATIONS

  • Reservations can be processed online DecapolisHotel.com, through our Call Center or by calling us directly at +507 833 8853.
  • The hotel requires reservations prior to arrival.
  • Reservations are considered confirmed only with a Guarantee Deposit.
  • Doubts regarding reservations are not confirmed automatically, but individually with a response within 2 business days.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

  • Check-in is not later than 3:00 p.m.
  • Check-out or departure time is at 12:00 p.m.
  • Entry from 7:00 AM will be subject to a surcharge of $55 USD.
  • Entry from 9:00 AM will be subject to a surcharge of $33 USD.
  • Departures after 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. will be subject to a $50 USD fee.
  • Departures after 3:00 P.M. will be subject to a charge of $100 USD.

DEPOSIT GUARANTEE

  • A deposit equivalent to one night’s stay is required, it will be charged at the time of making your reservation. The remaining balance must be settled directly at the hotel, on the day of your arrival.
  • The Deposit must be sent to Hotel Decapolis with a copy to our email prior to your arrival.
  • Non-refundable reservations are subject to a Deposit Guarantee equivalent to the total amount of your stay. They do not accept changes or cancellations, nor returns.
  • A government-issued photo ID and a credit card or cash deposit of a minimum of $100 USD are required upon check-in to cover incidental charges.

PAYMENTS

  • A credit/debit card is required to secure a reservation.
  • Payments must be channeled to Hotel Decapolis.
  • If you provide credit card details, we will make confidential use of such information for the sole purpose of processing your payment.
  • A Deposit Guarantee (includes room rate, taxes and service fees) is required at the time of confirming your reservation.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOW POLICY

  • Confirmation of change to any reservation is subject to room availability.
  • Any reservation canceled or modified 24 hours or less before arrival generates a penalty of one night plus taxes and services.
  • Hotel Decapolis reserves the right to charge your credit card with a cancellation fee equivalent to the number of nights reserved.
  • Cancellation fees are determined according to season:
  • High Season: 14 days prior are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s lodging.
  • Winter High Season (Christmas and New Year): 45 days prior are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay, for each room reserved.
  • Low Season: 24 hours prior are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s lodging.

OUR SEASONS

Seasons for reservations are:

High season

  • January 4 – April 1, 2022
  • July 15 – August 20, 2022
  • January 4 – April 20, 2022
  • July 15 – August 12, 2022

Winter High Season

  • December 23 – January 3 (Christmas and New Year)

Low season

  • The rest of the year

MINIMUM STAYS AND RENTAL RATES

  • Low Season: 1 night
  • High Season: 1 night
  • Winter High Season: 3 nights
  • A full charge will be applied to no shows and cancellations made on the day of confirmed entry.
  • A full charge will apply to short or incomplete stays.
  • The cancellation policy is not valid for special non-refundable promotions.

HOTEL SERVICES

  • Some of the services within the Hotel are free while others require a minimum fee. Please confirm when booking or contact us in order to avoid confusion.
  • The hotel is not and will not be responsible for any loss or damage to property owned or in the custody of the Client or its clients, employees, agents or contractors or external suppliers. The Hotel provides safes at the expense and risk of the Client.
  • With the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed.

RESTRICTIONS

Hotel Decapolis is a family and business hotel.

You may not bring the following into the Hotel: pets or livestock; pillows, bed sheets, duvets or other items of bedding; any electrical appliances and/or equipment for heating and/or cooking purposes.

Hotel Decapolis reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate any of the above items found in any room immediately without notice to you and to charge you for any costs incurred for taking such action.

Air cameras and drones: for the privacy of all our guests and staff, the use of air cameras and drones is prohibited for use within any of the areas at the hotel, whether that be at the beach, from your suite or any other location throughout the grounds. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

No Smoking Policy: At Hotel Decapolis Panama, we are a 100% smoke-free hotel. A penalty of USD$250.00 plus taxes will be applied for smoking in the rooms or on their balconies. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for cleaning costs and items that require replacement.

Use of the Safe: The Management of the Hotel Decapolis Panama is not responsible for the loss of money or valuables that are not kept inside the safe, which is available in each of our rooms.

Property damage: We reserve the right to make any charge for duly evidenced damage to our facilities, including the furniture and linens in the room; These charges can be made during the stay or after it.

Guest Behavior

You are expected to conduct yourself at all times in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and the booking of any members of your party if we (acting reasonably) deem your conduct to be in breach of this clause.

Conduct that we reasonably consider inappropriate includes but is not limited to:

Creating an inappropriate level of noise

Drunken or unruly behavior

Any behavior which other guests or staff find offensive in any way.

We will at all times act reasonably when making any determination under this clause. In the event that we terminate your booking, you will be required to leave your accommodation immediately. You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid prior to your departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.

Our obligations to you come to an end when the booking is terminated. We will have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation and we will not pay for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

We may send you news and information electronically with details of special offers and promotions. An unsubscribe link will be featured on each message we sent to you, should you no longer wish to receive these emails, alternatively you may send a blank email to unsubscribe@decapolishotel.com Hotel Decapolis will not share your details with any third party.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Panamá.
